Re: Who's aiming for Medicine?

I'm aiming for medicine. :)
I'd be surprised if you got it. In one of your posts about 1-2 months ago, you actually didn't realise there was a difference between Veterinary Nursing and a Bachelor of Nursing.

ROFL

So do you even know what a homo sapien is? It's a human and human nursing is not the same as looking after and nursing for sick animals

Non-human animals I meant; as all animals includes 'homo sapiens'/people.

Did you even realise, Mysterious, that people are actually animals? o__O

I may have misread your post (I just skimmed/sped red it)

Well. I just have to say that if I read correctly, you're aiming for Journalism at USyd=bad idea.

At USyd you don't learn how to work_as/be a journalist- you learn how to teach journalism. UTS is ranked first by performance fund in teaching for Journalism. They have the most well-reputed BA in Communication (Journalism) degree in the country, possibly the world. That's part of why it requires an ATAR of 96.00 but still...wouldn't write it off just yet (I might do Journo myself):jump:

Your comments about usyd journo degree aren't true at all..

UTS is better, yes, but the rest is utter bullshit.

edit: and LOL at best in the world, hahahah

What are you planning to do after the HSC?

Before you say it, this isn't like the other thread about uni/job etc. This about what you will do leisure wise after the HSC. We don't have much free time (up to you of course) throughout the year so I think it's good that whenever we think of something we want to do we write it down and casually tick them all off after we finish the HSC.

I'll start:

- READ MORE: Mostly history books like A History of Warfare, and Warrior Race: A History of the British at War.
- WATCH a bunch of epic movies: Have a LotR marathon, watch every one of Mel Gibson's epics, Star Wars, and otherwise work my way through the IMDb top 250
- GO to the gym more and get in shape!
- STARE at my wall!
- PLAY a whole bunch of games I won't have much chance to during the year.

That's all I can think of right now.

I'm doing it now. Believe me, it'll take you longer than you think.

Eat out every week.
READ.
Learn to make origami.

And I wouldn't mind the movie marathon either.

I'm aiming for a 99 up but realistically i'll be over the moon with 98+ (haha i know its not much of a difference!)

After the HSC
i'm hibernating for 2 weeks and then
i'm partying regularly
visiting new zealand
going on a road trip
begging dad to buy me a new car
getting a job at kikki.k
completing my book and movie list
volunteering for a worthwhile cause
chipping my wii o/s

well hopefilly that's what is going to happen anyways.
