It usually comes out in early May after all the entries have been sent in from the schools.

This is for 2009 but it was 1st of May that year so would appear to correlate with early May like cem said.

well it all depends what subjects everyone does and if they can fit around everything which they always do. It usually follows a basic pattern but who knows. Look up previous timetables and see if there is a correlation between each year.

Having noticed the different times for Modern and Ancient History over the years - yes there is reasonable change each year.
It is determined by:
how many students are doing each subject
the number of markers needed to mark each subject in order to fit the markers into the available marking spaces
the normal length of time to mark that subject so that it will be finished within the given time-frame - hence why English is always amongst the first - as it simply takes about 4 weeks to mark whereas Modern takes about 2 but Business Studies can be done in a 1.5 weeks despite having many more students but they have short responses that only get single marked.

This, and also I hope they don't put chem and german on the same day again. That'd be like 6hours of exams in one day D:

I think one year they had Economics and Modern History on the same day.
I hope to god that doesn't happen this year :/

If you're ready for 4U, you're usually ready for 3U.

That one has happened more than once in my time as a teacher of Modern. They have also been on consecutive days a number of times and two or even three weeks apart at times as well.

I would prefer them to put Maths last out of my subjects, simply because once Maths exams are over, I don't study for the other subjects.
and hopefully the histories and economics won't be on the same day!!!
