2010 HSC Final Exams
According to my school's calendar (which the teacher's use for reference and planning), the HSC exams start on the 14th of October. I checked previous years and they are plotted in as well at the correct and different times. I believe the schools and BOS already have the exact date the first exam begins.
Just for those who really stress and count every day
... Personally I don't mind what day they are.
But there you go.

Most of us hope for that (prays)... although I can imagine a bunch of mine all being crammed in together. But I am used to this from school past exams when there were a minimum of 2 exams on per day.

yepp, my 18th is on the 22nd, i really really hope that i dont get an exam on that day, it'll make my depressing birthday that little better.

The BOS arranges for you to do one exam at a different time to everyone else but during the interval you are supervised e.g. two morning exams would see you do one in the morning and one in the afternoon or two afternoon exams do one in the morning and one in the afternoon but the supervisors have to ensure that you don't talk to anyone in between.
If you had two exams at the same time and the other session that day also had an exam you would do one of the two at the same time as everyone else and the other one the next day and how they supervise that I really don't know but a couple of years ago they had some kids with three exams on the one day (due to some courses only have 1.5 hour exams and they run three sessions that day) and some of the kids did the third exam the next morning (and yes some of them were from a school where some did and some didn't).

My birthday is the day after my trials ends ! It would sound good except my major project for Industrial Tech is due two days later, basically gonna have as sucky a birthday as all you mid-HSC-ers !
