well it was my year 10 formal dress (i'm in the middle but it turned out blue in all the pics)..then we cut it into a skirt for my year 12

hey its a grea idea what u did for your yr 12 dress!! u look so pretty, I think cose its a beachy wedding wear that outfit but get like a lace cardy thing in silver thats glittery to wear over it. It will do it up for night time wear or get a silver top it will go well with that mauve.

the silver top's a really good idea. its from 5pm so probably a light cardie on top, i've got this cardie but i dont know if it'd work all that well

The problem with the skirt is it's long and it's quite formal.
Flashing skin at a party is sexy, in a wedding is just plain impolite, while wearing long sleeve and long skirt looks old fashioned.

With the skirt, i'd recommend a plain spaghetti strap singlet with something sheer on top... with a cap sleeve. Maybe a shrug or the little boleros that are fashionable atm?

Colours: Go anything that's not bright, pastel can be your friend
