I did the Drug Court because it said 'review' and not 'appeal', and i figured an appeal would go to the Supreme Court anyway.

Doesn't matter, I fucked up both peace rights and education.
My problem with the Drug Court being the answer is that the Drug Court is used to rehabilitate drug offenders and address underlying drug dependency issues

I didn't think the GG was involved in the separation of powers. Isn't it only the executive, legislature and judiciary???

^ (but mah syllabuszzzszsszzssss)
GG has nothing to do with it
Executive: Puts law into action
Legislature: Makes and amends
Judiciary: Interprets + makes judgements

So I guess the answer would be B then as the executive applies the legislation
Silly me was thinking of common law (most rights from Common law e.g. Dietrich v R) but that's not legislation so I'm stupid

Sorry, forgot you were smarter than the hsc markers themselves

Personally i thought it was A because the judiciary are able to make human rights law (i.e. Toonan, Mabo (if you count that as HR), Dietrich)

Curious, why A for 17?. I think its C. The question states defendant so its a criminal offence. Criminal offences can be summary. The case of DietrichvQueen already shows us that there is no guarenteed right to a lawyer, so thats obviously gone. A hearing is still heard in summary offences, even if its a commital hearing. The only thing which is no longer possible is bail since the crime is not of indicatable nature.
