If there's grass under the wicket, it's time to play cricket.

Younger would depend on their level of maturity... I'd say two years younger would be my max, and five older. I dunno, I'm friends with some twenty-somethings (twenty three-fourish), but right now I couldn't date them, they're just too... adult for me.

Hmmm. I think it definitely depends on how old you are. The age difference is less important the older you are.

If your parents are like 4 years apart, then that seems ok, but in primary school, one would have been in year 6 when the other was in year 2.

That's pretty weird...

would a 17 year old girl going out with a 24 year old be weird

this guy believes in a "half my age + 7" as being the minimum age of someone he dates, anyone else use that rule

that's a good rule.

24/2 + 7 = 19 > 17.

What seems to be an acceptable age gap seems to change as you get older. At 18 I wouldn't want a gap of more than 3 or 4 years but once you are in you 20's and 30's sometimes the acceptable gap widens. As long as you are comfortable I guess it doesn't matter.

Just remember statutory rape is a CRIME not an inconvenience. lol

I personally don't go for guys my own age, because for the most part (and I'm generalising) we're pretty removed in terms of our maturity. My boyfriend of a month and a half (yeah, it'll last longer, don't worry) is 22 in January, whilst I'm still 17. It isn't a big deal for us, but I can see why it wouldn't work for some people.
