umm who did you speak to about it? coz i had the same dillema before like im doing accounting as my major but i wanted to transfer to economics and finance which is a retired course startin next year...i asked the head of the program (John Ablett) and he told me to either do an internal transfer...

im sure based on my experience that if you rock up late you dont get extra time....you can lodge a special consideration request if you believe that you bein late was caused by extenuating circumstances but you gotta hav d documents to back up ur request.

your right...i dont think microsoft released a media centre version of vista...and they never will since the media centre version of xp failed miserably...if you have a copy of vista home premium or ultimate then the xp media centre edition's features are already integrated on those two versions...
