Can someone tell me how i can "import" my favourites to firefox ?
How can i make it the default browser as well...i.e, when i click a link sent to me, it will open firefox, not IE.

When you install Firefox, it will ask if you want to import settings from IE, or any other browsers install. Just select it and hit yes :)

Yeah, Firefox 1.0 seems to fix the PDF probs, too, thank goodness

Yes I love firefox.

Especially with extensions, you must download the extension that reverts the cookie description back to what it was.

Things like keeping the last session when restarting firefox etc I couldn't live without.

Why does firefox use about 30-50mbs of system resources, whilst IE6 uses 10-20mbs...this to me, makes me want to go back to IE6.

Seen in TASK MANAGER under "MEMORY USAGE".

that is cause bits of IE are contained within explorer.

and when opening multiple pages firefox will generally use less.

Oh, it makes it quite annoying, using so much memory on my 1ghz laptop :(

Also, when i have multiple windows of firefox, how can i get it to stop changing windows as soon as something has finished loading on the window thats minimized.

If you could, thanks :)
How do you enable the tabs ? Coz when i "CTRL-N" it opens a new window....
I dont like the tabs, coz its too thick, take away screen space :p

IMHO, my opera7 experience was better, alought, it did use more memory than IE and FFox combined  ;)

well this is what i did. I opened msn.com, minismised to window and went to another window quickly.

and nothing abnormal happened...

tabs are alot better if you have middle click. cause you can middle click to close tabs. and middle click to open link in new backgroud tab.

Ok, im not sure, if thats what triggers it , but heres what triggers mine.

The window is currently at BOS site.
I minimise it,
Click on the firefox icon on my desktop, where my homepage is ninemsn (takes around 5secs to fully load on 512k)
Within those 5secs, i bring back up the minimised BOS window from the taskbar....then suddently, ninemsn window pops up fully loaded which was "behind" the BOS window, not minimised.

Ahhh, excellent, yup i have middle click, and that is great . thanks! :D

Although, i do feel, that with FFox, my download rates stay higher for longer

You know how with ASDL, it starts like , twice as fast as it should be, and then drops very fast to the ""capped"" speed (in my case 512k) ... well, with FFox, it seems it maintains high speeds for ages.. :D
