Hello!! I know some people might be sick of seeing subject selection forums, sorry! I am in year 10 and have just picked my subjects. They aren't locked in yet but they will be on monday so thanks to anyone who is able to reply before then! I have picked these subjects: english advanced/extension 1, maths advanced, legal studies, economics and spanish beginners. Just wondering if anyone who has taken these subjects has enjoyed them or has anything to share about the workload, content, assessments etc as it would be much appreciated. I'm also considering swapping economics or legal studies for drama as some teachers told me it's good to have a fun subject.
I'm also a bit worried about math advanced. I've always been in 5.1 but I've taken the 5.2 tests and recently moved up to a 5.2 class, I didn't do amazing on the last tests but it was a little bit above average since I was teaching myself from home. Is it easy to drop down to maths standard later? I would feel a bit stupid because I worked so hard to get into maths advanced (it's a requirement to do chemistry at my school) but math standard might just be less stressful. Do you need a lot of formulas etc from math advanced to be used in chemistry, or can I drop to maths standard later? Thanks.
