but maybe it's the way the electives are set up now, so you don't do a full 200 (?) hours or whatever like we did. i dunno.

P.S: go the tigers :p

Year 9 & 10 i did computing studies, commerce and Latin (not good), i loved it in yr 8 therefore chose it in yrs 9 & 10 and realised i made a really bad mistake, it got soo hard. People say that latin scales really high and it really does but only when u do well at it.

i did drama, food tech and commerce/law. food tech was fun but i could never be bothered with the theory components, i just wanted to mess around with the knives and stuff :D commerce/law was the crappiest subject EVER, i cant believe i chose voluntarily to put myself through that for 2 yrs. having a shit-tastic teacher probably didnt help though. drama was great, still is :p :p :p i've had the same teacher for 3 years now and she's excellent. our food tech teacher talked to us about breast milk a lot for some reason. it was very strange.

At our school we don't pick 'subjects' we pick 'courses' ie Text to Performance English 7, The World of Fashion...we fill up our lines with mandatory subjects and the left over lines are devoted to electives...

I've done 3 drama courses Intro to Drama, Theatrestyles, Text to Performance
and 1 history elective Mysteries, Myths, Monsters and Mummies. Currently I'm doing Creative Writing (English duh!) and Conflict and Terror (history).

All my electives have been fun except perhapds for Mysteries, Myths, Monsters and Mummies, we had a really bitchy student teacher and saying the course name was annoying....so we all called it Mysteries.... and looked like arseholes
that sounds very odd in an interesting sort of way. what school do you go to?

I did (or I'm doing...) Agriculture, Computing and Woodwork.

Ag-Good (We get to drive the tractor!)
Computing-Good (This is the biggest bludge)
Woodwork-Good (I'm the only girl in the class)
