Well, I used that calculator and figured that I need English to be in the high 80s, maths to be in the high 90s and the rest in the low 90s so that I can get 99+

I then put 100 for the following subjects and realised:
English Standard = not capped
Maths Ext 1 = not capped
Maths Ext 2 = not capped
Ancient history = capped
History Extension = capped
Religion = capped
Economics = not capped

The resulting ATAR was 99.6.

Which is weird because SAM gave me a UAI of 100 when I inputed 100 for all my subjects.

If it says percentile 1.3 or 19.8, what do they mean?

I think it means what rank you are? As in 100th percentile is Rank 1

I reckon it's a good calculator- I put two of my friends' marks from last year in- one came out to be exact and one off by 0.05 :)
