Woah wait so you think all transgender people are homosexuals who changed so they can enter heterosexual relations?
I've heard stories of transsexuals having gender changing operations to be gay with the gender they changed to.

IDK it just seems like this massive attention attracting..."thing".

This may insult some people, but frankly I don't care:

That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. Is there any scientific evidence to back up such a claim?
Umm.....what? Are you serious? I think its fairly self evident

Right and those who leave schools/jobs/houses after the operations?

No, I read it here once. Ages ago. I thought they were joking, turns out they weren't.

Scientific evidence of what? That they exist (pretty sure they do)?

Oh i didnt realise BoS became a sceintifc source. More to the point, it is laughably illogical. Most men would run for thr hills if they found out a woman was born as a man, being transgendered would severley curtail, rather than enhance, your ability to have sex

So your argument doesnt make sense. Any sort of attention, as demonstrated by your neanderthal attitude, is likely to be negative, not positive.

So far I've seen an opinion put forward, but I can't find any sort of argument to justify it? I've gone through the thread twice.

I will only begin to see legitimacy in transsexuality if I see some scientific evidence.
I'm struggling to establish how you arrived at your opinion. What kind of scientific evidence are you after exactly?

Personally I don't really care about the decisions other people make. Personal freedom is a beautiful thing.

No I mean what about those who leave town to start new lives after the operation so they aren't constantly being viewed through the prism of being a transsexual? I know for example of a girl who changed schools after her operation because she didn't want people to know. Those folk are obviously not doing it for attention.

It's a person's choice about their life. I don't have a problem with it - and even if I did, it's not my place to tell them they shouldn't do it, if they don't want to.

No, no, no. The surgery might be a choice, the condition is anything but.

You have your views. But remember that this in no way makes you entitled to tell others what they should do, or refrain from doing.
