Maybe try making up timetable options manually yourself, like on Excel or something.

I never used it. I actually played around with the UNSW website itself and eventually I got a timetable.

Pen and paper, or myUNSW. Best, most accurate method. If it can be done with engineering courses, it can be done with any other degree.

Start with your fixed courses, generally lectures, and then have a look at things like if you don't want 9am tutorials, then find a tutorial that isn't 9am. If you want to have a free day, find classes that don't run on that day.
