I'm using A1, A2 and A3 to show a generic question.
A1 - A2(- A3)
I forgot about the negative sign inside the bracket and expanded it in the form:
A1 - A2(A3)
Careless error

I wrote 1 x 3 = 1.
When asked to find f(0), after finding a pronumeral within that function, I...forgot to sub in x.
In an AP question, I found a. But when finding the term asked, I forgot to sub in a, only d.
I often forget the second number in evaluating a definite integral.
Yet we know I'm not bad at maths, because I rank in the top 20 at NSG.

You cannot possibly beat my carelessness in maths.

In my last 3 unit exam, the only mark I lost was because I forgot to write +- when I square rooted something

Heres mine , i finid a 3 unit exam paper in 20 mins , and have 30 mins left , and at that moment i was like crap , i went too fast again , i went back on a question that i got problems with , sitting there and spended 30 mins on it , i wrote like 10 page on it , but yet i couldnt get the answer . . . . . and u know wat ? the teacher siting infront of me get frustrated , she even pointed out where my error is, at the moment , i still dont know what the heck is wrong . . . she pointed at a cos 30 . . . . i was like whats wrong with that . . . i got frustrated as well, and i am like what eva , that will only cost me 1-2 mark . .

AND AFTER THAT , U KNOW WHAT ? the teacher stood up , and tell the whole class , EVERYBODY , U KNOW WHAT ? I (the teacher) GET SOOO FRUSTRATED THAT HON (me) ARE STRUGLLING WITH cos 30 . . then i am like cos 30 ? A half ? then the teacher yelled at me its root 3 on 2 . then i was like . . . oh crap , thats what went wrong , i got a calculator next to me that i can easily found out , but i didnt . . . and the teacher goes on , he is such talented student who finishes the paper in 20 mins , but yet lacks of common sense. . . then she goes on , AND HE DO 4 UNIT. . . i am like . . . hell yeah, thats me . . . .
class ends . . . . what a greattt exam . Btw , i came equal first :D

1+1=3.
Worst of all, it was a long division question and it took me about 20 minutes to find out why my polynomial wasn't factorising.

Not taking the negative case when you do the square root is annoying.

Oh GOD this thread is exactly what I needed!!!

In this year's half yearly... I lost 2 marks because of:

2+3=6

1/0=1

I can never avoid making at least one of those dumb mistakes in a maths exam :(
