Re: First Preferences?

That might be good for me...but I hate journalists with a passion. Oh well.

My top preference would be arts/law sydney uni, then the same again at unsw, uts and anu. Then after that either psychology or liberal studies at usyd.

True, just seems like everyone's pretty sorted. Ah well I'll worry about it after Trials, there's no point wasting my time on it now.
Nah, people have been feeding me news about psych being more philosophy based rather than science based today, so now I'm undecided too >.O; Altho I can be sure I'll be doing something science based

Arts just drags out your degree even further =P. What are you thinking of majoring in in Arts then?

Re: First Preferences?

i'm not sure, i think it's about learning new cultures and languages or something like that, i heard a few want to do it so that they can travel, except i was told by someone else that its not as 'travell-y' as you think, despite it called 'international' studies

Re: First Preferences?

right! lol i felt a bit stupid about asking that since my first preference so far is Bachelor of Global Studies at Usyd.

It's a bit different to international studies, I think... I always had the impression that international was more politics/economics based.

In the description for global studies, it also includes sociological, historical aspects and u major in a particular area, e.g. european studies, american studies...

Wow, u don't have to choose a uni course based on your desire to travel :S Just do it, either way!

Re: First Preferences?

Online (through the UAC website) or by phone.
You have till the end of September.

It's best to put it in right before the deadline or else you'll have to pay for the late processing fee. Here, you'll have to put in your name and personal details and preferences. After this deadline, you may change your personal details and preferences as much as you want.

Not necessarily- you do it yourself. You apply in your own time. So you can use the school computers to apply whilst at school or your home computer or both. It's up to you
Oh !
Thanks.
I was under the impression that the school handed out forms and collected them again , after everyone had written down their preferences :p ; haha my bad !

City campus?

It's a shame they do not offer electives in other areas (e.g. biology).
Nursing at UTS isn't flexible in regards 2 program structure.
