Too early to tell.

My aim constantly changes...

I remember going for 90 in Mathematics last year. If I got that this year, I will be devastated.

Aim for the best!!!! never aim low because if u do u might not put in the hard yards thinking that u will get it!!!!! On the other hand when you aim high you tend to study more and it will pay off and in most instances you will get better than the required mark!!!!

  1. Advanced English - 90% - 3rd
  2. 2U Mathematics - 100% - 1st
  3. Mathematics Extension 1 - 90% - 3rd
  4. Chemistry - 95% - 1st
  5. Physics - 90% - 2nd
  6. Biology - 100% - 1st

Hopefully these aims along with other people's goals will be a motivator to excel :). If I only achieve those rankings as my internals, I'll be extremely delighted.

Nah, that won't work. If you work hard and don't get the aim, you just burn out. It's better to aim slightly above your level and slowly make your aim up .

thats true!!! But if you are a person at the bottom of the class (im not saying you are) and when you keep aiming a bit above your standards you might find it successful but it might also be too late to do that because HSC is only a year away.

It's never late, my friend.

At our school graduation, we had a reall fancy award that goes to someone who improves his marks & ranks significantly form yr 11 to yr 12 and the guy who got that improved his ranks so much!

He was ranked about average during his whole yr 11 year but at the end of yr 12, he came first in Economics and Business Studies and top 5 in all his subjects. Another guy who improved alot is a guy who came top 3 in all his subjects. I am anticipating a great change in the upcoming year.

Aw man...you guys suck so much. I see a shitload of 1sts.

Englishes - Top 20 would be really nice, but I'll take Top 36.
Maths - Top 5
Chemistry - Top 10 would be real nice, but I'll take Top 15
Physics - 1st, but I'll take Top 3 or Top 5

I am interested to see how many people will achieve their goals considering that the great change is likely to take place in yr 12.

I will be surprised if I maintain my ranks, let alone improve...

Getting a rank of 1st is quite easy when most of your classes have less than 10 people :p
Coming first is diffcult in a class less than 10 people who are actually determined to work.

No, I don't think it'd be easy. It's probably easier, but not easy.
But firsts sound a lot better than my 20ths and 30ths. :p

Especially in my MX1 class. Dead silent at times...
