So the results haven't been out yet, but im PRETTY SURE i failed all core first year courses (ironically except for MGMT1001)...but what does this mean? I know I have to redo the courses, but how does this affect my WAM and GPA? If I smash the subjects the second time round, does my marks from first attempt gets written over and hence won't count?

I'm pretty sure that the fails will remain regardless - so they will count towards your GPA/WAM.

All courses count towards your WAM, even if you fail them and redo it. There will just be multiple records for that course but both will be counted.
