some of the 'tech' uni's have really good 'non-tech' courses... like UTS has good communication/journalism

A double degree with law and any of these:

*Media/Communications
*Journalism
*Commerce
*Arts

Unfortunately I'm aiming for Sydney, NSW or UTS and those have really high UAI'S :(

Sci/law maybe. I will sit UMAT for the hell of it too just incase I change my mind. I'm not sure about anything, just looking at maximising my options.

it doesn't?
oh blast it!

i've got a pile of application forms for umat/med related/uni on my desk
(at school ... kind of like an office/nook thing ... i'll say no more ;))

anyway,
i was looking over it the other day.
i guess i must have missed the universities that recognise umat.

i'll have a look tomorrow though.
i think the required uai to sit the umat was 95?

i'm not too sure, but it was along the lines of 95.xx

so i briefly skimmed through it only.
i'll be reading it carefully again, tomorrow :)

thanks for the heads up though,
it is much appreciated.

Like so many other people, i wanna do arts/law, or maybe media/law. i feel so unoriginal but it's truely what i want to do.

Only problem is getting the UAI needed for sydney uni. Maybe if i just top the state in legal studies they'll let me in... hey, for me it's more likely than getting the 99+ UAI!

i think all the undergraduate med degrees recongnise the umat, but sydney is postgraduate degree so it needs something else like the GAMSAT and a degree.

you need an uai to sit for umat? isn't it that everyone gets to sit for it as long as they pay the 150$ entry fee?

i think the umat is on june or july so maybe i should apply now...
