    transfer to law at monash

Hey, I got 78% average last year (attempted transfer from another Uni where I was doing Arts/Law) ...wasn't successful...its extremely competitive now that Melbourne Uni has shut down its undergraduate law. Good luck though.

Needs advice on doing well in contract law

I did Contracts at Deakin last year. I am not going to lie, it had a large fail rate. Over 40% from what I have heard. They mark HARD. I thought I aced it and came out with a 63% - a credit - which is not bad, but still disappointing. From my experience though, those who failed, honestly did not...

Deakin Arts/Law vs Melbourne Arts with a JD eventually.

I had the same dilemma that you are facing now, except, I had just left school and didn't have the 2 years of HECS debt that you currently are burdened with. I chose Deakin - Arts/Law. If you give me any specific questions about the course I am more than happy to help. I have completed one...

[Serious] Law students, do you have a life?

If a person finishes a degree, can they actually get into any degree after that..?

Re: If a person finishes a degree, can they actually get into any degree after that.. The University of Melbourne Law School has made it a requirement now, that is all I know who has done it. Except Deakin University requires non-school leavers to take the DULSAT (Deakin University Law School...

    noob question

MDA is a great show, they have been playing re-runs on ABC early Monday and Tuesday nights for the past month or so. It shows a lot of the dispute resolution side of law instead of the courts. Interesting, not sure how true it is, but I do recommend it.

Monash Arts/Law vs Melb New Gen Arts with guaranteed pathway to JD?

I assume your talking about the guaranteed entry pathway from year 12. If so then, this is the requirements set by the Melbourne Law School on their web page. Guaranteed entry for school-leavers : Undergraduate : Future students : The University of Melbourne If you don't achieve that, then...
