tutors need to be true in marking and not necessarily nice . I’ve definitely failed some of my students I tutor . How else do they learn.

teachers as tutors are usually helpful because they only have one student to mark not thirty

okay but i don't take off marks without feedback. i just heavily penalise mistakes to try to reinforce the feedback. if i give 18/20, they won't even look at the feedback
