heres mine
chem: strive book + past hsc papers + 30 trial papers
4u: 30 trial + the smarter maths stuff and prob a few topic based revision resources
3u: 30 trial + the smarter maths stuff and prob a few topic based revision resources
economics: like all the hsc papers whichh is like 20+ and also a few trials + just making essay plans for practice
english: i wanna do like 30 trial paper comprehension, then like for a bunch just adapting my essays to the questions for the other parts, and then some proper timed exams

They can be good for seeing what type of could questions could be asked and they can help you learn how to answer questions but it depends on the subject

i have a question for trials revision

so for 3u and 4u its all good ill just do trial papers and stuff thats the best way and if i need improving in speicific topics ill just do like a chapter from textbook for those/tutoring handout booklet
english ill just do past trial papers
economics is just past papers as well
THIS LEAVES CHEMISTRY
I have too many resources for chemistry unfortunately (yes this is a bad thing)
basically i bought some stuff for free and. now i have a bit too much
i have tutoring centre videos, topic booklets, other tutoring centre hw booklets, and then even more trial papers. I also borrowed this strive chem book that has syllabus relevant question from the past hsc and stuff with sample hsc papers from my school library. What is the best thing to do for chem studying? Idk where to start to be honest theres just wayyyyyy too much. Do you just do trial papers?
I was thinking of just finishign the massive strive book before trials accompanied by the tutoring topic booklets if i need extra help. Is this a good plan?
For chem I’ve literally just done trial papers and seen massive improvements (like in my first 3 papers I went from raw marks of 60% to around 90%), the trick with chem is that you have to be really thorough with marking and analysing mistakes/knowledge gaps afterwards. For every past trial paper, I go through every single question where I didn’t know/fully understand a single piece of content, and fully re-covered it by reading the textbook and writing ≈half a page of summary such that I was sure I wouldn’t get a similar question wrong ever again. It’s an absolute pain but it’s so worth it, you can make major improvements with relatively few hours spent studying

Chem: so far done 14, hopefully 30 by trials
Physics: so far done 12, hopefully 25 by trials
3u: so far done 14, hopefully 40? by trials - tbh 3u trial papers are just my ‘break’ from other subjects while still being productive
4u: so far done 14, maybe 30-40 ig
English: depends on how well I do in the next assessment, but I think I’m gonna mostly focus the grind on English so hopefully 20-odd at least (depends how much English past papers help improve my marks) but at the end of the day English is my focus because it’s all that really matters

I know I should focus on phys/chem trial papers more than maths but unfortunately I’m gonna run out by the hsc, so I kinda have to space them out a bit.

2u integration is a joke (just make sure u can do trapezoidal rule) and and stats is just like formulas and common sense

who studies for 2u though lol it doesn’t count anyway and I just like speedrun the examples in class and then it’s easy 100%s, my teacher said I don’t have to do assessments but like you might as well just not study and do them anyways

yeah I finished it in January but it’s def my weakest module, make sure u focus on it hard because most trial papers don’t include parts of it so it’s easy to forget about it

nahhh but like i need to learn the whole thing and the textbook can not explain for shi
cuz like i tried reading it and bro i dont care about the random shi they start talking about
like just tell me the formula and how to use and bruv il do 2 questions and boom
p.s i did standard normal distrubution in tutoring it was obv easy and we finished it quickly but thts because i didnt have to try understanding the textbook
