He did these cricket, soccer, debating, film club, history club, legal club, gone to zone for swimming, been to opera house for music once and yeah thats it

tysm! those are a lot of excs tbh so idk what he meant by mid. also omg wait a damn minute I went to the opera house for music as well - but it was a whole school thing.
Also do u think camp would count as an extra curricular?

girra... a lot of people applied for my year(9), so its not surprising ig.

hii could I know what ur exc's were? and what was ur report like? Also if you're comfortable with sharing what % ranking you got for each component (e.g. top 10% in english)? This is bcs I want to apply for girra in yr 9 and it makes me stressed beacuse despite you doing well in exam you still didn't get in. Thank you so much!!

yes that is a good report, I feel like if u do well on exam you'll get penrith. Ur NAPLAN is also taken into consideration. Also what r ur exc's? and what's your approx. ranking of school? Because these are also important factors considering your application.

My year 7 NAPLAN results haven’t come out yet, but I’ve submitted my year 5 NAPLAN results, which were pretty good I guess- I got strong for all but exceeding for spelling and writing. My exc’s are dance, netball, I played in a band last year, and this STEM science thing in school. I have 2 external academic achievements as well. My current school ranking is 57 in terms of SES.

Btw, my reports for year 6 last year were pretty bad- I got all Bs and around 2-3 Cs. I really hope my year 7 report evens it out
Also does anyone know what subjects in HAST penrith takes into consideration the most?? Like maths or reading?

okay I'm going to be completely honest with you, I am not trying to be rude, you seem like a really good student. Your NAPLAN result is not bad but its not good either. Your exc's are good and you have academic achievements which is good too. You're excs are also good try to find more and whatever you can because the other people applying for penrith might have more exc's and achievements. I don't know what SES means sorry, but the reason why I asked for your ranking was because having a high school rank and having a good school report. You have a good report, well done, so if ur school ranking is good they will see that you're a good student. For now, focous on getting good marks in HAST )

is it okay if your 2025 naplan results arent out yet and are coming out after the deadline, like i know some schools allow you to submit the 2025 ones when they come out but what should you do if they are asking for them right now?

should you just give them the 2023 ones and attach the 2025 ones when they come out?

depends on the school; it should say on their website on whether they accept late reports. if it doesn't, email them.
