I got 97 raw in the HSC, and ended up getting 98 externally, whereas any other year, 97 raw would've been 99 or even 100 (possibly). So yeah, I believe it was an easy exam.

So it makes sense that 93 would be 93.

Pardon my ignorance (and tired-ness/hangover etc) - but what do you mean what would it have been around? Which mark are you talking about?

I meant what would his raw mark for the HSC be around because he got 93% for the trial not the HSC but nevermind, he's still smarter than me. I got 87% :(

If you got 93 raw in 2009, you'd probably get 93 aligned. Or even 92. It seemed to be pretty easy (easier than normal).

which paper? HSC?
syd grammar 2011 - it was pretty easy. 7c was a bit of a pain with the algebra though, but i still got it. lost all marks to sillies as per usual. for 3u practice i simply do the paper without checking so that i can MINIMISE the number of sillies i make. in the actual hsc i intend to actually check to eliminate these sillies :p
