I'm owed for the last couple weeks. Found out today that it was more than $1300. Makes me very happy.

(ROFL did you not get the hint that I purposely picked a number which was below the starting wage of most grads =P) - don't want anyone's feelings to get hurt!

>$60k would make me go "ok you did well straight out of uni" of course that is without super (so add a few more %) maybe $70k package. You get a better than $70k package and i'd say you were good.

Most grads start off fairly low which is why they will often skip their first job after a short period of time once they get experience. One of my friends managed a $50k package and has just moved on to a $80k package. Another started on $55k package and is still around $65k at the moment because he likes the travelling :)

Left right out- you have done marketing right? Did you do honours at all?
Nope, and I don't work in marketing other than teaching it, well I do consulting but I don't consider that working in marketing. We just had a huge final year real life market research project.

How much do mushroom pickers get paid? Theres always mushroom picking jobs advertised and it seems like a bludge
Mushroom picking is not a bludge its boring, repitive and back braking. Also its piecemeal so only the best pickers (eg done it for twenty years) get the $16-$18 p/h that a packer gets as their flat rate.
