A common problem of mine, one which i am facing right at the moment, is my brain refusing to work. i dont know how to explain it.. its like it feel a bit empty and a bit like the slightest headache.. like it hurts to think. And when this happens i feel like i can get no school work done at all. I have hours of the night left, but i feel like i cant do anything.:mad1::bomb:

Any suggestions for help? Thanx

That happens to a lot of people so you're not alone in that respect. The solution usually is to just force yourself to power through I guess, you can't just sit there blank and wait for something to come along as drag you back up.

Are you lacking motivation or do you have the motivation but your head still refuses to do its job? Eat regularly and if you don't have all the required nutrients, try multivitamin supplements like Centrum or the like. Your head probably just lacks the energy it needs.

Try and study in another place with better lighting (lol I'm being serious)
And it might be that the desk and chair aren't the right size for each other

What I do is get outta my house, find a place with lots of trees, like a park or some place, and just relax there. I don't necessarily fall asleep, just feeling the wind blow is refreshing. Sometimes, I go in the rain just to feel the rain. (Altho I end up wet, but meh XD)

Not sure if that'll work for you, but it does for me. I also almost always bring my MP3 along and play something soothing when I go there.

Hope that helped ^.^

Yeah, just make sure you can see what you're working on as well.

Don't go out into the park and sit under a few trees to study at night, unless you've got a light source handy and you're not afraid of the types that hang out in the park at night :p
Oh I see XD
In that case, to TC, I forgot to mention that you should go in arvos and not during night time, my bad <.<;

- change subject
- change work environment
-sleep it off, wake up early start working
- work on some 'easy' thing for now
- listen to some music to put you in the mood

thats mostly all what i do...can't think of anythign else. i generally just force myself, and once i get into it, i'm fine. :)

I'd assume that's what rain would do to one.

Haha, I know what you mean XD But TC is a girl, and as far as I know about girls, (Which isn't a lot XD) they don't like being wet in the rain, so I pointed that out just in case XD

I wouldnt exactly say that the park is a safe place through the day either, my friend saw a couple going for it in the middle of the park (not even trying to hide themselves) on her way home from school the other day, lol.
