Is it really bad?

Am I better doing it over the full year?

I really don't think it's that bad provided you don't let yourself fall behind.

The tutes sometimes seem like a waste of time but I suggest you go just to ensure you understand everything that is being taught.

Really it's not as terrible as some students make it out to be, and the work load is not too hectic, nothing you wouldn't expect from any other unit at the same level.

Cool - just annoyed because it means i will be in 4 days in Sem 2 instead of 3 all because it has 2 lectures 2 tutes and a practical! Never mind =) BTW what's the practical? What does it involve?

this may be the wrong place to ask but... im a noob.

this is my first year of uni so does this mean i can only choose 100 level subjects.
i know that some 200 level subjects require a previous 12cp completed.. so does this mean i can choose 200 level subjects in my second semester?
ta. :)

As far as I am aware you can select any units you want as long as you have done the pre req's i.e. if you have done the pre req or there is no pre req you can do 200 level units in your first yr.

For sem 1, I'm doing FIN310, ACCG329, STAT379 (any comments on these 3?), but I can't decide what elective to do as my 4th unit... any suggestions?

What has worked for me previously when i was getting that overload screen: exiting (completely) all IE/Mozilla windows, then open up again and go to website OR try a different browser if you have multiple browsers installed.
