I've heard that the UMAT is really difficult, but after reading a few threads where people put up their practice test results, everyone seens to be doing quite well. So to clarify, is the UMAT 'hard' simply because of the quality of the candidature (where everyone does really well), or is it because the practise tests are a poor reflection of the difficulty of the actual test?

(Or the alternative, where the people who post on this site are super nerds and are the best of the best who will definitely get in)

Could be all three factors.

Similar scores can have vastly different percentiles - on the Medentry trial exam I got 16/30 (60th percentile) and my friend got 19/30 (90th percentile). I think the score/percentile curve is pretty steep.

The actual exam is alot harder than any of the acer official practice papers/booklets. Yeah, alot of people don't post their marks up as well, alot of people are ashamed of their poor marks, etc.
