what is approximately the lowest UMAT score required for interview at UNSW, Newcastle, UWS and Griffith?
will they all have a second round of interviews after the release of ATARs?
thanks

Newcastle = 180 approx (no second round interviews)
UNSW = Depend on ur ATAR prediction (second round interviews)
UWS = 150 weighted approx (no second round interviews)
Griffith = Didnt require UMAT last year (no second round interviews)

UWS has late round interviews.
yer they definately do - i know coz its really stupid:
they were going to use my GPA instead of UAI as criteria..coz uai wasnt high enough...and have to aparently wait til the end of academic year before they can get my uai (no provisional offer or anything) and i HAVE to sit for late round interviews....gaaaay

so in reference to UWS weighting...
if my raw scores were 57 54 56
does that mean UWS take my total weighted mark as
139?

Pfft, I was in the same boat last year ^. Patience my friend. I think your interview chances for late round are very very slim that's if you are GWS. But I guess you'll just have to sit and wait.

Sorry, I don't know much about the cut-offs for the Extended Rural Cohort or Dean's rural list, etc. Try searching on www.medstudentsonline.com.au

the Extended Rural Cohort is something you apply for once you get an interview. i.e. its not a stream of entry for rural students, but rather a stream within the course for those wanting to do their clinical years in rural areas. so non-rural students can apply as well.

its the Dean's Rural List you need to look up, but from memory its pretty high. (high 170s).
