Hey, I got most of my trial results back and am not happy
Ext 1 Eng 60/100
General Maths 65/100 (Worst...)
Legal Studies 83/100
Business Studies 76/100
Adv Eng 84/100

I still have yet to get Modern History and Adv Eng, but am told were both in the low 80% range.
Do I still have a decent chance of getting a 90 ATAR? Prior to the trials, my ranks were
Adv Eng: 10/60
Gen Maths: 1/99
Modern:2/48
Legal: 2/48
Business: 5/85
Ext Eng: 4/9

What is your school rank and your rank in these trials? The tests might have been easy or hard so the actual mark doesn't matter that much.

Why is there a huge difference between your ranks prior to these exams and what you actually achieved in the exams?

80% in an exam is good.

You still have a very large chance of getting over 90.

You had good ranks going into trials, trials cannot have pulled them down too much I imagine, and there's still the external HSC to go!

I reckon you're looking at around 92-95 with those rankings - one unit of general probably wont count. I would be very suprised if those ranks at your school werent enough for 90+.
