So far [will update as we go]:

Subject - Trial Mark [Rank] --> reaction

MX2 - 72/100 [average was 80 so rank won't be too great] --> yeah, I knew I bombed out so it didn't give me too much of a big shock.
MX1 - 67/70 --> Was happy about the 3U mark because it was a great comeback from 4U.
Physics - 81/100 [rank 18/95~] --> Happy that I'm in the 80s krew.
Economics - 92/100 [rank 2/70~] --> absolutely happy, I really didn't expect this. Crammed like 3 topics and a bit of the 4th topic in like 3-4 days (basically tried to memorise pages and pages of notes) and it worked :)

Just got last exam back today. Did CSSA Trials. Here goes:

Eng. Adv --> 99/105 --> 94% --> 1/62
Eng. Ext I --> 47/50 --> 94% --> 2/9
Legal --> 86/100 --> 86% --> 1/56
Modern --> 94/100 --> 94% --> 1/36
Society --> 59/60 --> 98% --> 1/19
SOR I --> 50/50 --> 100% --> 1/100
Italian (OHS) --> 91.5/100 --> 91.5% --> haven't supplied their ranks.

Absolutely stoked! :caffeine: Do you guys reckon at least a 99 ATAR is possible?

Have I lost all hope for my HSC ATAR?
Got my trials back.....scoring 70% in chem, eng so far. I haven't got my two 2 others exams back.
I got my bio back and it was below 50%
I'm on 10 unit right now.
How is it going to impact my atar.
Up until the trials in bio I've scored
78% --> 20% weigh (assessment 1)
55% --> 20% weigh (Half yearlies)
84% --> 30% weigh (research task)
41% --> 30% weigh (trials)
I do go to a selective school.
Which one?

So I was aiming for an atar of 90.00+ but I'm freaking out that I've aimed way too high. My results were (and I'd like to add that i have two bulging discs in my back so i can't sit for long periods of time, but i didnt take special previsions because I was scared i'd lose my train of thought walking around and I only studied for two days per subject)
50 % Advanced english, but out school marks incredibly hard, with the average on each essay being around 8-9
78% bio
60% general maths with lots of simple mistakes and i didn't study the prelim stuff
78% PDHPE
68% 2 Unit Studies of Religion

Someone please let me know! Our school marks pretty hard acros the board, i know I can do heaps better but still. xo

Put it this way, your ATAR is made up of 10 units right and of those 10 units two are biology. Of those two units your internal assessment makes up 50%, but realistically, the ratio is around 60:40 because you have to account for scaling etc. You haven't messed it up at all, If you do well in the HSC (my definition of well being a raw score of 85) you will be absolutely fine!

We need your ranks in those subjects and your school rank... (tell us your school and we'll find the rank if you can't do it)

Most students within this thread either have super easy markers or are impending state rankers...
Nope. School rank's in the top 50, with student's rarely scraping 90% in the trials and dux averaging 99.8ish every year. Not easy marking, just hard work

He wasn't talking about you.

He meant the people getting high marks in real subjects.

Update:

Advanced English 86/105-4th Super Happy with this since Module B was marked harshly.

Chemistry: 81/100-11th Not the final mark/rank (Asking Teachers about some questions) Could've done a bit better but the mistakes were fairly minor.

English: 103/105 1/40 something (catholic trial)
Chem 93.5% 1/13 (exam choice
Physics 89% 1/12 (exam choice)
Eco 98% (independent trial)
Extension 1 Maths 97% 1/15
Extension 2 79% 1/5
pretty small grade (60 something) but happy! Thought?

Advanced English - 81/105 [rank top 20 probs out of 136] --> I died in module C and creative so I couldn't expect any better really...
Business Studies - 95/100 [tied 1st/35~~] --> Tied with overall 1st for trials who happens to be a Year 11 accelerant. I can't believe this happened, considering the fact that I crammed the entire syllabus (up to where I was being tested) + case studies all in the night before (3U was the day before and I studied for 3U in the weekends leading up to the 3U exam rather than business). So in the end, the subject I studied the least for (leading up to the trials), was my best trial exam.... but I guess I consistently made notes + memorised them throughout the year so hmmmm....
