Wow, the marks on this show that BoS is popular with two main groups of people: selective high school students and the upper end of non-selective. Very strong marks everyone :)

I wouldn't consider myself the upper end of non-selective :p

Well your consistent ranks certainly say otherwise! You would be considered one of the stronger students. Trust me, this board is by no means an indication of the majority of the state. Most people at my school (ranked in the 100's) use the excuse of scraping the top half of a course to go out and party on the weekend.

Yup. I can vouch for this as I'm from a school ranked 550+, and apart from me and like 3 others no-one else ever open their textbooks lol

Well my school will drop out of top 100 this year, top people in my school need to start going to gym, cause we seriously need to carry most of the cohort.

LOL yes, pretty much the same. My school went to extreme trouble to procure the latest HSC textbooks. All year they have sat there, pretty much untouched. I guess the people are just so enthusiastic about their learning they went and bought their own *sarcasm*.

I really wouldn't worry about the rest of your cohort tbh. As long as you are up there, the lower people shouldn't drag you down. How your cohort goes as a whole is something the school should concern themselves with.
