The two textbooks that i have almost contradict each other when talking about surrogacy. I don't know whether it's the way i'm interpreting or if one is just wrong...

*who are the legal & natural parents when it is the surrogate mother's ova and the male's sperm?

*who are the legal & natural parents when the surrogate mother is carrying the other woman's ova and the male's sperm?

I would ask my teacher, but she isn't the most reliable when she can't refer to one of the textbooks...

In general, the surragate has paramount rights (in relation to the child, they can cut the "parents" ties with the child) as she is carrying the baby and as we know women come quiet attached to the child.

I am 99% sure this is the case for both the situations forementioned

When the child is born it is adopted by the childless couple" This being the case, you would assume the surragate is the mother in the eyes of the law until adoption is complete
