I've had three weeks off from my job so it will be good to go back next week and start earning some money again. Thankfully my textbooks only cost about $250 this semester - which is very low for law.
In the past there have been special SMH cards. I thought it was generally given out when you collected your access card, although I may have been wrong. It also usually takes a couple of weeks for home delivery to start up.
Sorry I have no idea about the digital login - that is new this year. I assume they will email, but it may take a little while (if SMH's organising of weekend delivery is anything to go by, as above, it takes a while).
Saying that, what was also new was the option of having the SMH delivered 7 days rather than the delivery 3 days and pickup on campus weekdays. I took the 7 day delivery. Much more convenient considering I'm only at uni two days a week, and its nicer to have it at home to read rather than carry it around campus.

The fucking instant coffee guy remembered me from UNSW O-Week. Fucking creepy as fuck. He was like "I know you from somewhere… are you famous?" and I was like "of course I am. Who wouldn't be famous with a face like this?" in a Judith Lucy sort of way and then we figured out he saw me at UNSW.
Also, I totes should've gotten 7-Day delivery. Fuck!
And, the socialist society guy saw me walk past and wanted me to join up and was telling me all about it and going on and on and then he was like "so, does it sound like something you'd be interested in?" and I was like "I love capitalism." and then we both laughed and I ran away.

Agh I tried to get ahead of the queues and purchase textbooks and readers for my subjects earlier this week...I thought I had everything, but now there's also a reader for one of my subjects. And it doesn't sound nice (when its $53 you know there's going to be a stack of reading).
I've ordered online, and I just hope there won't be a queue at 8.30am on Monday when it opens lol
