this is mathematics 2u lol wrong threadquestion 3 is A..
isn't it? conjugate base of z would be in the 4th quadrant? so multipy by 1 means it's in the first? O.O

You can believeI can believe I got the tan one wrong. quite annoying. but yea rest seemed right I got 8A also *just sub in x=1
9/10 for that
what?question 3 is A..

you test a point within the region, e.g. (3,0) the only conditions wich adhere to this point are in A. so A is correct, C is notCould someone explain 8, I was pretty confident with C but people are getting A, Why?
yep. got A.you test a point within the region, e.g. (3,0) the only conditions wich adhere to this point are in A. so A is correct, C is not
Loool wthFor question 7 I substituted a whole heap of numbers as my x in the calculator and it kept giving me x^2 ?? So i put c...
Yep. I feel soo stupid atm..Loool wth
a^2 = e^(2x)
lne^(2x) = 2x (lne)
lne = 1, thus the answer is 2x
You're saying you kept getting x^2 but you put C as the answer?Yep. I feel soo stupid atm..
+1, tested the same point aswell hahaLolol it's really not that hard.
For the parabola equation, the shaded region is within it.. so you test (0,0) into the equation and find an inequality that satisfies it.
For the line, the shaded region has (3,0) in it, so you sub (3,0) into the equation and find one which satisfies it.
If the inequalities that satisfies the answer is correct.
