Well my local member is the leader of the opposition, so I'll be voting Labor, especially now.

Liberal, both state and federal.

But is this poll for State or Federal? As some may vote Labor for Federal but Liberal for State especially given our current situation.

I think that the results just show the unique Australian sense of humour

At any level of government I wouldn't vote (ie. spoil my ballot)

I don't need, nor want to line up behind one faction of the ruling class or partake in their retched struggle for state supremacy.

@ Rafy: It's hilarious to see a liberal (conservative?) using socialist phraseology and imagery.

My vote doesn't make any difference. The winner will always be determined by the stupid and uninformed majority. I have, however, decided to give each election a chance anyway.

Federal had its chance and I am not longer voting in federal elections.

I will vote Liberal in the next state election.

^The purpose of this thread is to see who would vote for a given party:

"Put your vote where your mouth is."

---

I'd vote Greens in both. To whom do I give preferences? No idea. Probably Liberal for the State election although that would be one hell of a gamble. Only incompetent douches and partisan hacks like Rafy would actually believe they currently have the ability to do a better job.

I think now is perhaps not the best time for such a poll, change of leadership in the liberal party allways kind of destabilises the political climate. In a months time a number of people who would say they'd never vote liberal but there is something about this Turnbull guy that wins me and by the same token a number of conservatives that will claim that they are just unable to bring themselves to vote for a trendy urban progressive repulbican like Turnbull. Give it a month, the dust will settle and these centralists will return to their traditional homes. I say we do another poll in a month like this and see what we get, could be interesting to compare.

I personally am Green, have been pretty much since the Tampa.

Do you wish to fight me, Thatcher?

I reckon I'd give my preferences to the ALP in Federal, atm, btw.
