Things that put me in a good mood - NSW winning. Things that put me in a great mood, NSW winning at Suncorp. NSW were a bit sloppy though, could have easily been a blowout for them. Queensland just lack the forwards - it was a similar issue last year.

Fletcher Hunt scored or assisted every time he got the ball... Just fuckin kick it to him!!WHY DO WE NEVER CONTEST IT!!!

at this point we just need a refresh... i honestly think ponga is a waste of money!!! like what can he even do

1. he kept falling over in that match
and more importantly 2. he SUCKS at defending... your one job as a fullback is to back off so that the players behind the ball can get back to tackle, but hes SO FUCKING BAD every single time he sprints head on IN BETWEEN THE PLAYERS... like fuck off

its unbelievable he does the same thing every time and it never works

why on earth are we spending 1.3m for 10 years on a player we dont even need when our fullback is so ass
like sorry ponga but like,,, i feel like people are wayyyy too keen to make him the hero of everything like yeah great he made a try assist, what's that? oh yeah we're down 40-0 FUCK OFF if i have to hear one more time about how amazing ponga is from all these sportscasters... like its so crazy hes doing the bare minimum??? and everyone congratulates him for it

its THEIR JOB to set up plays it really shouldnt be that big a deal that he can do that sometimes like he just doesn't do much otherwise... he can hardly defend, and hes always injured, and like, he isn't THAT great at setting up plays

maybe 1.3m for 10 years doesnt go far in the fullback market but like, we don't even NEED dylan brown...



my only hope for the deal is that they do SOMETHING to restructure our team... we keep letting everyone go
KPP? off contract. Daniel Saifiti? gone. Leo Thompson? gone. Adam elliot? off contract. Davy? gone. (although we didnt REALLY need him with sharpe right there)

and its been happening forever too!! why do we have 1.3 mill in the salary cap? oh yeah cuz we let our whole squad leave year after year...
here's a list of players: dom young (now back), klemmer, lachie miller, mitch barnett, milford, mann, connor watson

like bruh... we debut a new player every other game and we're spending 1.3 milly on ONE player we dont really need???? like we need a good spine, not all these debutants half of our side would never get a game in another first grade team

which reminds me, why the fuck do we never contest the ball? its one of my least favourite parts of our plays. like just look at Hunt. he might be ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL (yes fletcher hunt is so peak) but like, every time we contest the ball, IT GOES WELL. (well mostly)

like,
Dropouts? nah let them take it (or option 2 bat the ball back instead of grabbing it)
End of set kick? nah we don't need field position anyways just let them have it on the 40 with no kick chase, there won't be ANY problems...
attacking kick? nah we weren't gonna score anyway so no point in contesting it (even though we're like 10 out from the tryline)
its even worse when like i said, we have no field position, i.e kicking from our 40 to their 40, and no-one attacks the ball. like we just kicked it 20 metres what was even the point. literally just putting a chip n' chase in would be more effective, except oh wait, no-one would make a play at the ball.


why can't we just contest the ball when possible? if i had a dollar for every time we kicked it and one of our players was waiting for the ball, (or running onto it) not to catch it but to tackle them, ARGH

like we NEVER do.
