I chose lung cancer, but my friend chose malaria, and so did many people in my grade (and another school aswell) - so dont worry - you're not the only one, and it shouldnt really effect your uai. So, relax...

Id laugh if someone wrote down that pregnancy or homosexuality was a disease of some sort - kinda sad though that some people actually would have.

Technically, pregnancy can be classified as a disease as it disrupts homeostasis - it was in a bio text book lol.
And yes, scurvy was one of the best to choose from for that question.

I was ABOUT to do obesity...and then freaked out cause I wasnt sure if it was a disease.

And I know all about malaria, but THINK it's contagious...

So (cause in class I was mad bored when we were all researching our diseases and I wanted to be different) I chose Harlequin Type B Ichthyosis!

ITS SO OBSCURE.

I fer-eaked out and hoped I was right. Gosh damn, phew! I lucked out.

Although, I really DIDNT luck out on the composition of blood question.
My response: "Red Bull makes your blood sticky! :D"

Mmmmmmm. Karma.

for those who did scurvy:
- how many symptoms did you do?
- what were they?

I did a few IIRC, bleeding from all mucous membranes, sunken eyes, spongy gums (teeth falling out), dark spots especially on legs.

All from wikipedia, lol.

You'd need at least 2, and possibly 3 to gain full marks, IMO.
