Always put your 'dream' preferences at top

Make sure you put 8-9 as backup units

Always put DFEE courses below CSP ones.

This is how I ordered mine:

Preference 1 is what you want to get into. Preference 2 is the course you want to get into if you don't get into what you put for 1. Preference 3 is the course you want to get into if you don't get into what you put for 2.

This pattern continues until you have filled all preferences. It's innovative I know, but you can thank me later.

Still haven't chose all my preferences yet. I am only interested in 2 preferences so do you think it's ok if I just leave it as it is?

I have three preferences that go 90, 90, 65 and my uai was 94, so sometimes you only need a few preferences :) Some people only have one as their UAI is certain to get them a place.

Theres no reason why you shouldnt fill all your preferences up.

You need backups.

Well, I can't find any other course that I'm interested in so I just put down two preferences. I'm pretty sure I will get into Industrial Design at UWS if I miss the cut off for my 1st preference.

If you want to do a particular degree at a certain uni, you are better off puting all those degrees at that uni on top and degree at other uni on the bottom. It will be easier for you later when you want to make a transfer.
