Does anyone know of any LCMD for surrocacy, adoption and IVF? I need it for my legal studies assignement.

Case Study: Re. Evelyn 1998:
Surrogacy agreement for baby Evelyn found that birth mother was considered by the Family Court of Appeal the legal mother and given the residence order. The surrogate couple were allowed contact i.e. The best interests of the child were paramount and it also encouraged shared cooperative parental responsibility.

The Status of Children Act 1996 (NSW) allows children to have the identity of their father determined by blood tests.

Case Study: B V. J 1996-The Family Court held that child support not be paid by the sperm donor even though he was listed on the birth certificate.

The Artificial Conception Act 1984 is now replaced by the Status of Children Act 1996 (NSW) giving children from AI and IVF the same status as children conceived normally.
