Well for this month I went over my monthly 10 gb limit on the 15th day and i've been capped at 64k since!
Provided that they didn't cap me, i would've downloaded around 20 gb a month.

It's funny though, Telstra doesn't cap your upload so my speed has been at 64/128. I can upload faster than I download :D

I went over my 20gig download limit on my 1.5mb TPG connection about 3 days ago and have been capped as well. I was downloading games, tv episodes, movies, programs, music. Being capped sucks heh.

anyone else on Optus hate the new Offpeak time periods?

cos i really do. I find my entire network just go down between midnight till midday.
I still prefer the 2am - 9am times.

if you're a massive download-er, this will be nice to have at home

1.6TB!

i like the new offpeak times. that way i can use more of my offpeak data , rather then wait till 2 am as before.

i dotn know why your net becomes slow, but probably becuase you live in a busy area. i dont have that problem so i like the new offpeak
