i went to the garage session the night before. very good band live.

they were pretty tight live, eh. that kapranos guy can actually sing pretty well live, too.
i think they were surprised by how hyped everyone was at the beginning of the show. the crowd were fully into it.

i got the setlist for the first metro show 
i also got the band's itinerary for today (friday) which was sweeeet
the drummer from the fiery furnaces started talking to us
i also got to meet the band at channel v
and i also got lots of photos with me and them
and i got my album signed

Triple J Radio are broadcasting Franz Ferdinand's full set from Splendour In The Grass Festival. Tune into 105.7 FM [Sydney] 107.5 FM [Melbourne] or 107.7 FM [Brisbane] from 4:30 pm local time for the set, being performed in the Supertop.

there have been lots of mel and robbie buck 'ads' talking up their splendour bender weekender which is tomoz.

oh okay..i'm assuming that they're only going to feature highlights then, because splendour is like, not 4 hours long.

they'll probably play a live at the wireless gig of franz ferdinand, could be a metro show or the splendour one. either one i'm happy
