They won't.

The syllabus is being overhauled in 2013 anyway.

Unless you have someone else to give them to or something. But they won't be of any use to your brother.

Yeah Belonging is in its last year next year, all the stuff says 2009-2012 on it.

Curse my belonging to be born at a certain time to do belonging!

Who knows, knowing HSC English they might just surprise everyone and cycle belonging again

perhaps because of the cyclical nature of the belonging process? ;)

What ever the AOS changes to, Skrzynecki will probably still be used.

Wait...so the syllabus is being overhauled in 2013?To what extent? As in the content is being changed?? I'll be in year 12 then, so what's that going to mean, I'll be doing totally different stuff??

Pretty much. Stops people from recycling essay's too much every single year, or at least tries to.

Although I'm not sure if the change is actually going to be implemented in 2013.

Unfortunately yes. Not sure about the modules though.

My english teacher said it has been extended from 2009-2012 to 2009-2014 as they await for the national syllabus. There is no point bringing out all new texts and modules if they will only get 2 or so years out of it so they are prolonging it.

This is correct. Belonging is the prescribed AOS until at least 2014.

I don't know, sorry. I'm not sure whether the work begins on the new syllabus in 2013 or if it's implemented then, but I don't THINK that it will be implemented. They're not just overhauling English either, but all the subjects. I know they're aiming for a standardised national curriculum at some point in the not-too-distant future.
