may i ask, one thing i've always been scared to go to uni for is making friends. how is like the social pool over there does anyone actually speak to each other because my friends older sister says everyone just keeps to themselves how have u found the whole making friends/acquaitances process

my uni friend mission had to happen since after high school, 3 of my closest friends lowk dropped me so i was low on friends, so the need was def there for me.

being honest, yea, most people keep to themselves but it’s because we are all thinking the same thing “oh they probably don’t want to talk to me”. realistically i think most people would love to chat but no one has the confidence to. i still do this LOL

i have made about 6 good uni friends and another 5 or so new friends i’ve made from uni were ppl at my school that i now talk to but didnt before

i be tryna study for midterms and there’s like 20 congregations of year 12s and they leave their test papers all over the place

thank god y12 students tend to avoid the law library

tbf I only like the silent study places in UNSW cos areas like level 4 are filled with uni students watching tiktok on full volume while procrastinating for their group projects

state library is way cooler anyway, i remember for physics and engineering studies me and my 2 friends booked a glass box room thingy and we were doing all this math on the board while people stared at us across the library like we were zoo animals

I also prefer going to state library since its usually a lot quieter and its also quite aesthetic in there
