Out of curiosity, does the number of people doing your course at your school affect the scaling at all?

Context: There's only 4 people in my 3U class and just 2 of us in 4U

i suppose it makes it more volatile when comparing with different years, but i dont think it should?

this just means you will be compared to state average as the main reference. its not really a disadvantage, its only an advantage if you have a really smart and large group doing a subject / disadvantage if everyone is bad at the subject
