no that was about human behaviour, actions and motivations.
i think paradoxes, anomalies and inconsistencies is the only thing that hasn't been assessed from the rubric (idk thats what some guy ok tiktok said lol)
'Students explore how texts may give insight into the anomalies, paradoxes and inconsistencies in human behaviour and motivations,'

ok if the common mod question was on paradoxes, anomalies and inconsistencies, what is an ideal thesis you would write. Could I say something about how my text is full of paradoxes, anomalies and inconsistencies of the human experience, thus giving insight into complex human behaviours. and like not go into specifics in the thesis and just expand on it in the intro
also can i do a paragraph on each of the three, instead of integrating all three into each of my paras?
i highly doubt they would do something like that because thats overfilled with rubric terminology my guess is just using them in your analysis and mentioning them in your intro but do not go overboard with them teachers cap responses throwing the rubric their face at a band 5. id say if ur text is 1984 i would go how totalitarian regimes uses paradoxies... to evoke subjugation...erasing individuality to... like something along those lines. do not separate paradoxes, anomolies and inconsistenies into paragraphs it should be used lightly in ur analysis rather making that the whole focus of ur argument. in my opinion the best way to approach the paragraphs is to go from experience - motivation - action or something like that.

ok wait but my text has three main experiences that i base each of my paras on. the first one is grief, so it relates strongly to the inconsistent responses to grief, and the other two each relate to anomalies and paradoxes respectively. it doesn't really overlap. how would i approach such a question then?

do you reckon they won't do a question on just the anomalies, paradoxes and inconsistencies part then tho?
but idk what else hasn't been assessed on, i mean i guess challenging assumptions?

if the question is on anomalies, paradoxes and inconsistencies, that's a way better approach than rubric vomiting in the analysis.

for people doing ts eliot if the question is on textual integrity are we meant to talk about journey of magi because it kinda deviates a little from eliot's other poems??

also for mod A is it mandatory to discuss one dissonance and one resonant thing or can we do 2 of the same thing??

look i think it just depends on the full question there will be other components for sure if this pops up, what i would do is just mention SOMETIMES these rubric terms not all the time that will be repetitive and reduce the quality of your essay but make sure u acknowledge it in your thesis and intro, how you do this depends on how your structured your essay. since i did 1984 i will just use this as a cause and effect type thing if that makes sense??

for mod a it depends on what the question is asking you, there was times (i think) where they asked just on how the texts collide, that would require only dissonances if im correct. but if a question doesnt specify i would do resonances and dissonances to show that you have a deep understanding of both
