i did pacificwait did u do indochina?
To be safe, yes - however, they often word the question as "with close reference", so I don't know how true this is, but my teachers said that technically you can treat it as a stimulus and make it part of your thesis instead. How true is this? No idea!Wait, If they give an extract for english, how exactly do u use it? do you just like use quotes from it and stuff?
No actually it is 592 words i just checked600? like ur essay is only 600 words?
yeah i'd agree w/ this, add the ideas explored in the extract (e.g. honour or legitimacy) into your thesis and then incorperate the evidence in the extract at least one in one of your paragraphs, or more if it fits (but once should be enough) --> though like u would any question keep linking back to the idea you incorperated into your thesis throughout. To be safe, yes - however, they often word the question as "with close reference", so I don't know how true this is, but my teachers said that technically you can treat it as a stimulus and make it part of your thesis instead. Honestly though, I'd just analyse it on the spot, haha...just more short answer practice!
edit: I just checked the marking criteria for the 2021 Mod B question, and it says:
So I guess you do have to analyse it to some extent. Honestly though, excerpt questions are really confusing, because in that case why can't your whole essay be on that extract? So actually it probably would be most effective integrated into one's thesis, but also analysed in the relevant section.

yo music 2!! what instrument do you play (or do, in the off chance you're voice)?*at least once
haha whoops that was meant to say maths standard lol, but i did do Music 2 (voice aswell!) --> i dropped it like last term cause I was doing 14 units rip (should've dropped legal)yo music 2!! what instrument do you play (or do, in the off chance you're voice)?
My intro is 50 words and my central paras are 250 each.. Obvs it ranges but in the exam my intro will be around 100, and body’s will be around 300-350 each when I adapt to the question + conclusion is around 50, so my essay will usually be around 800.. For mod B since we can literally be asked a specific question my school makes us do 2 body paras and recommends us to memorise 3 quotes per poem because it’s possible to get an extract and we shouldn’t leave it up to lucksorry just wondering wym by its only 600 words?
NOOOOOOO NO MUSIC 2 NOOOOOO my bad tho lol I should've realised there was something else it could stand for, love the coincidence that you had done it at one pointhaha whoops that was meant to say maths standard lol, but i did do Music 2 (voice aswell!) --> i dropped it like last term cause I was doing 14 units rip (should've dropped legal)
wow! thats actually so smart though, cause I always struggle with adaptingMy intro is 50 words and my central paras are 250 each.. It works tho I think the lowest I’ve gotten on mod B is 19/20
i was the only one in my class lol, my teacher was rlly sad when I dropped cause she was stuck with all the like piano, flute and chello kids (+randomly a recorder?)NOOOOOOO NO MUSIC 2 NOOOOOO my bad tho lol I should've realised there was something else it could stand for, love the coincidence that you had done it at one point

LOL no I'm basic, I'm a violinist! I go to a school where music 2 classes aren't very common tho, we get a couple of kids every few yearsd u do vocal aswell!
YO RECORDER KID? that's insane, one of my teachers would love that! and international singing is sooooooo cool, I haven't really done much music on a wider scale I just do small things with my violin teacher which is funi was the only one in my class lol, my teacher was rlly sad when I dropped cause she was stuck with all the like piano, flute and chello kids (+randomly a recorder?)

In 2022, Mod C had a 5 mark reflection on the stimulus. This is very much something NESA could do again.whats the chance it could be a reflection on the stimulus? I saw that alot in 2025 trial papers i've been doing
yeah lol we r kinda known as a "music school" so we literally have a recorder club which has like 20 members (didn't know that many kids liked the recorder).LOL no I'm basic, I'm a violinist! I go to a school where music 2 classes aren't very common tho, we get a couple of kids every few years
classical voice? either way it's super coollllllllllll heheheheheh I'm very impressed rn

aural is okayyyyy I just don't like the extended response bc I don't wanna memorise all that
composition was simultaneously so stressful yet so fun (I've never been good at it, just look at all my failing 4-part harmony grades in AMEB) - glad I got to do it though!
did u apply for the con?LOL no I'm basic, I'm a violinist! I go to a school where music 2 classes aren't very common tho, we get a couple of kids every few years

That's what my school predicted as well. They even made us do that in the trials. And my teacher specifically went through it in class. I really hope they ask that. I hate writing reflections. In 2022, Mod C had a 5 mark reflection on the stimulus. This is very much something NESA could do again.
