guys if my internal rank is a bit cooked, can i pull a generational comeback for the external exam and possibly score a band 6? like for idk bio, 10 people get a band 6 but I'm ranked 30, can i still get a band 6 for external and scale my internal mark up or am i being delusional

if ur 30th internally, ur assessment mark is approximately the 30th external hsc exam mark

can someone tell me how to memorise English essays

ok so someone said do a ton of practise responses boiiii nooooo. memorise three general adaptable essays for each module + set a plan for ur mod c. so eg mod a text for me is pygmalion. the module is called "language identity and culture" so guess what the main themes are for my general essay i make a thesis i can adapt and that mostly applies to the module. eg common mod human experiences ok i do kenneth slessor i talk abt themes in his poems that relate to the module human experiences. ur brain is not going to remember multiple responses dont even bother

Yuppo so for e.g if u get 85 internal and 90 external it averages out to 88 final mark

No, you get the 30th external HSC assessment mark, but your exam mark is what you got in your own exam. Your HSC mark is an average of these two, so technically if you get an assessment mark that's slightly lower than 90 (88, 89), it's possible for you to get a band 6 if you do much better in externals (90, 91, 92) to bring the average up, but it'd be hard

Best thing you can do is lock in hard for trials and get your rank into at least top 20

English advanced is hell. I'm using a keyboard to write my essay and notes as well, but I cant complete my essay in timed conditions. It's been 42 minutes and I wrote halfway through my second paragraph for Mod A. I think I might have a break but honestly I hate studying for English because it just fills me with dread
