This model can show everthing in exact values, not decimals and i was wondering if people use this as an advantage in the exams, is the fx-82es allowed?

screw the board approved nonsense.

1- they NEVER check
2- you can hide it by changing the "face" of the calculator by unscrewing it
3- a bunch of the guys in my maths class wrote notes on their calculator in lead pencil and the hsc guys didnt even check.

Funny if they read this and check the calculators and catch you trying to cheat and then upload pics of you to the Big Cheaters Database where people can see you and make nasty comments about you being cheaters.

Ive got an fx-991ES...
wonder if thats banned too
but i think its equiv to a BOS approved calculator...

apparently i dont exactly believe in the BOS approved calculator stuff coz theres models you get overseas (fx-82ES and my one from the mainland) equivalent to the ones you can get in australia...

i guess we should all get calculators that are specifically supplied and designed by the board at the beginning of the year (so we can have practice) in order to avoid cheating with white covers so the supervisors can see if anyone has written any notes on it
