i'm running about half an hour EVERYDAY.

Observation: They're still there!

Does sit ups actually get rid of a stomache?

We have hips, and boobs, and asses. That's how we're made, I'm afraid. No amount of running is going to change that.

u cant reduce the amount of fat in certain spots. you have to lose the weight overall. e.g. working out your abdomen isnt gonna make you lose excess fat around that region.
i agree with what scarybunny said. besides, a girl with no hips is unnattractive!

hahaha I second that.

Unless your hips are like 40inches around, then you should keep running..

Oh, and pop some testosterone pills for good measure.

Well actually, just get hip replacement surgery. But tell them to skip the "replacement" part.

Different people lose from from different part of their bodies first as others have said you cannot spot reduce! The key here is a good diet that you follow and no cheat meals etc.

Avoid doing oblique work as that will build muscle under the layer of fat and make the hips look even wider!

Hips are almost impossible to lose weight from in women.. unless u get a psychiatric eating disorder.. and u lose ure period too :p

men its harder around the waist... i managed to lose a heap from the limbs..but the gut.. is the last to go :)

sit ups help to tone your stomach but if you want to lose weight off your hips then you should eat healthily and continue running/exercise in general. maybe you should try doing squats as well?
