Of course, I then went on in another essay (and in class discussions) to illustrate how my theory that gender is Not the construct of society, can then be used to discredit the basic philosophies that underpin all feminist doctrine.

Despite the slight detour into Gender studies:

Are you sure you want to do Geopolitics? It may be better this year, but in 2005, as the first year the course has run, it was shit house. It sounds great in the unit outline and the topics are interesting enough I suppose, but I felt like we were a) going round in circles and b) not really linking anything in with stuff. Geopolitics is a pretty old Political Theory anyway so I'm not even sure why its running, but I would consider going to the lectures first before making your mind up...

I've already stuffed one arts major. I don't really feel like stuffing up another.

Another thing - I thought that you couldn't Major in Government in Arts as it was a Table B subject? (or something like that)

Has that changed with the new system or is it because its your second major you can do it or what?

Well, we're all confused about that, which is why it's still tentative. From what I can tell, I need to complete three Majors - one Con major (Composition), the Arts Music major (Arts) and a third Arts major. Arts Music is table A, so I assume that the third major could come from table B. At least, that's what the Con Admin suggested.

It's gonna be a bitch of a couple years if I have to do another table A major.

Okay, so this is what I need, as far as people I've talked to can tell:

72 senior credit points from table A, including the Arts Music major (36)
+ 2 arts majors from either table A or B
to a total of 126 Arts credit points (not counting my minimum 114 Con credit points)

SO, this is what I'm going to do:

the Arts Music major (36 senior from A)
the Government Major (48 from B)
ARIN 2600, 2610 and 2630 (18 senior from A)
GCST2609 (Gender Studies, but focused on Masculinity, which should provoke a lot of debate)
One more Senior Arts subject

Completed:
8cp senior Arts Music, 8cp senior Gender Studies and 6cp junior Asian Studies.

Does this make sense to anybody?
